Medals are a fantastic and cost effective way to reward competitions such as running events, sports tournaments and of course school sports days! There are a couple of things to consider when ordering medals:
- Sport specific v generic medals: Generic medals allow you to add a centre of your choice for example your club name, the name of your event or even a sponsor logo. Sports specific medals usually cannot take a centre and therefore the only customisation is engraving on the rear of the medal.
- Ribbons v boxes: Next you need to consider how you wish to present your medal. Most common of all for large scale events is the medal ribbon which comes in a fantastic choice of colours and designs. For small events, such as a club presentation, you may wish to present the medal in a box which can then be customised with an engraved plate in the lid.
- Medal colours: Most medals come in the traditional three colours - gold, silver and bronze - however we do have some medals that come in Antique Gold or Antique Silver - a much more resonate colour. Make sure you check them out!
- New for 2024: We are so excited to announce the launch of our sublimated medals. Historically the only way to manufacture a custom medal was to have a die cast in which case you had to order bulk quantities. With the sublimated medal, your unique design can be printed directly onto the medal. These are an absolute game changer.
