Medals are a fantastic and cost effective way to reward competitions such as running events, sports tournaments and of course school sports days. There are a couple of things to consider when ordering medals:
Sport specific v generic medals: Generic medals allow you to add a centre of your choice for example your club badge, the name of your event or even a sponsor logo. Sports specific medals usually cannot take a centre and therefore the only customisation is engraving on the rear of the medal or putting the medal into a box and having an engraved plate on the inside of the lid.
Ribbons v boxes: Next you need to consider how you wish to present your medal. For large scale events most clubs would choose the medal ribbon which comes in a fantastic choice of colours and designs. We can even produce a custom made medal ribbon, talk to our sales team about this option. For small events, such as a club presentation, you may wish to present the medal in a box.
Medal colours: Most medals come in the traditional three colours - gold, silver and bronze - however we do have some medals that come in Antique Gold or Antique Silver - a much more resonate colour. Make sure you check them out!
Custom medals: With the sublimated medal, your unique design can be printed directly onto the medal. These are an absolute game changer. If you want something really classy, then look at the glass engraved medal. BTW we can also product you a custom made medal but note there is a long lead time to this, so please ensure you speak to our sales team early!
