FAQ: Customisation

School Awards for All Occasions

The customisation of your trophies is perhaps one of the most important decision you will make when ordering your trophies and awards. There are a number of ways in which trophies can be customised:

1. Trophy Centres: Many resin, shields, medals and plaques can be customised with the addition of a "Centre". There are two sizes depending on the trophy being ordered. The centres are made from vinyl with a domed finish and take 10 days to be produced. If you are in a rush for your trophies then we can provide a flat centre in five days or a stock centre same day. The design of your centre can be your club badge or even a sponsor logo.

2. Engraved Plate: This is the most common way to customise resin and plaque trophies. Your engraving text is cut into either a gold or silver plate which is then adhered to the front of the trophy. If a plate is available for the trophy you are ordering, simply tick the box and add your text in the space provided. You can also order engraved plates on their own (for example if you are recycling some trophies). There is no limit to the amount of text that can be added to the plate, however the more you add - the smaller the text will be. We recommend four lines of text for most trophies - Players Name, Name of Award, Club Name and Year of the Award. If you are ordering in bulk then download our easy to use engraving form here

3. Annual Shields: There are specific areas which can be engraved on an annual shield depending on the size of the shield. Top Scroll - normally used for the name of the organisation, Centre Shield - for the name of the award, Bottom Scroll - could be used for a sponsor, and Record Shield - these are used for the name and year of the winner.  If you are ordering a new shield then you can select the areas you wish to customise from within that product. You may however need to update an existing shield with a new centrepiece, top scroll or annual record shield - all these can be ordered from within the "Engraving" section below.

4. Sandblasting: This is a dramatic way to create unique customisation and is used on glass awards and plaques. A copy of your club badge, sponsor logo and text can all be etched into the face of the glass. This option can only be selected from within the relevant trophies. We will provide you with a proof of the award prior to the sandblasting taking place.

5. Colour Printing: This is a superb way of customising many of the glass awards. It's a great way of showing your organisations name especially if you have brand specifications to work within.

6. Sublimation: This is only available on a limited number of trophies (see these under the Custom Trophies section). Your artwork can be printed directly onto the trophy and can be anything from a club badge, replica of a match jersey, company logo, even a photograph of your team! Let your imagination roam!
